Behind the Scenes: A Full-Day Content Shoot with True Tex Plumbing

The Brief
True Tex Plumbing came to us with a straightforward but ambitious goal: capture a wide range of content featuring their plumbers at various job sites throughout the day, then turn it into a steady stream of social media posts. Not one polished commercial, but dozens of usable pieces — enough to keep their social channels active and consistent without their team having to think about content for weeks at a time.
That meant our approach had to be different from a typical shoot. Instead of chasing one perfect shot, our team followed True Tex’s crews from job to job, capturing footage as the work actually happened.

Day One, On Location
On the Road with the Crew
The day started early, riding along with True Tex’s technicians as they loaded trucks and headed out to the first job site. From there, it was a full day of documentary-style filming — our team embedded with the crew, capturing b-roll of plumbers at work: prepping tools, running hydro-jetting equipment, handling backflow testing, and tackling the residential and commercial jobs that make up True Tex’s day-to-day business.
The goal with the b-roll was authenticity over polish — real trucks, real job sites, real tools, including the Gold Standard branding and full service list painted across the fleet.
Faces, Not Just Footage
Putting a Face to the Company
B-roll builds trust, but people build connection. Alongside the job-site footage, we sat down with several of True Tex’s plumbers for a series of short interviews, asking them to talk in their own words about the topics that matter most to homeowners: what makes a plumbing company worth trusting, why they got into the trade, and the practical stuff — like the real benefits of adding a second water heater to a home.

Short, honest, single-topic clips — built for how people actually watch video on social media.

Post-Production
From Footage to a Full Content Calendar
A day of filming produced far more raw footage than any single video could use — which was the point. Back in post-production, our team broke the footage down into a full batch of individual pieces: b-roll cutdowns, interview clips, and short topic-based videos, each edited and formatted for social.
From there, the content was loaded into True Tex’s social media scheduling software, where it’s now posting automatically across their platforms on an ongoing basis.
The Payoff
The Result
The goal of this project was two-fold. First, capture attention: give True Tex Plumbing a consistent, authentic presence on social media that gets people to stop scrolling and notice the brand. Second, and just as important, start a funnel: turn that attention into the first step of a relationship, moving viewers from a scroll-by video to an aware, considering customer.
Capture attention first. Start a funnel second.

One shoot day, four crews’ worth of footage, and months of content — built not around a single video, but around a whole system for staying visible. That’s the difference between a one-off video project and a true content pipeline.
